Shanghai International Center designed by Design Lompret Arquitetos Nolte, Nanda Eskes Arquitetura and Architecture for Humanity is in Yangpu, China. The new complex consists of a green structure divided into overlapping terraces, which will host, among other things: a hotel, a museum, a library, shops and offices.
The historic building is represented by the grand entrance (door Marco Polo) which consists of two towers facing each other. Located in the western part of the site, which marks the international symbol of the opening of the new complex. The design of the garden and the mall (Galleria Matteo Ricci) are designed to be a meeting place and buffer zones between the campus and the urban fabric.
