Designed by Vidal and Associates Architects, the airport of Zaragoza in Zaragoza, Spain. The building consists of 11 modules, located in an alternating pattern so that it resembles the movement of water, appropriate to the original purpose of the airports. The design features a functionality and responds to three basic principles: flexibility, coordination and openness. The modular structure will allow growth in the necessary areas, the design allows a sequential flow of passengers and the maximization of natural light encourages openness. The exterior of the airport also has been landscaped to preserve as much green areas circumscribing the terminal.
